Rocking Your World--Week 6

Bit late this week I'm afraid. I thought that I would write this up last night when we got home from work as Friday is usually an earlier day. As luck would have it, we had a steady snow fall all day and it took us 3 hours just to get home. Normal travel is 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

I guess that my first positive for this week will be that even though it took forever, we got home safely. There were loads of accidents on the highway, one of them looking very serious with multiple fire trucks, police cars and ambulances.

On Tuesday we had dentisit appointments. Just a cleaning, but while there Mr R was discovered to have a cavity so it was some extra time in the chair for him. Me--I was all clear which definately made me smile as I have a severe phobia of getting needles in my mouth. It also doesn't help that I seem to need about 3X the anasthetic of a normal person just to get me numbed enough to work on. Even then I can feel the pain, it's just dulled down to a bearable level.

This coming Monday is the little Gorgeous' 3rd birthday. I just keep shaking my head--where did 3 years go so quickly? Her Mama had a birthday party yesterday for her down at her Great Auntie's house. Sadly, I was working, but I have been assured that she had a wonderful time.

I'll leave you with a couple of pictures of the festivities and then pop over to see Virginia and Annie.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.

Happy Stampin'!
Michelle

  1. Not such a good week for you Michelle, what with that horrendous journey and a visit to the dentist. I, too, have a phobia for needles in my mouth so I'm a very nervous patient. I'm no even happy to see the hygienist! Lovely photos of Gorgeous at her party. I'm surprised she didn't levitate whilst holding all those balloons :) Hope the week coming is a better one for you.
