Rocking Your World Friday--Week 5

Another week has flown by just like that and it's once again time to visit with Virginia and Annie.

This week has again been fairly quiet with not a lot going on.

Mr R and I managed to get in another lunch date this week. I think we have found the fastest drive-thru known to man. Six minutes from leaving our parking lot to being back in our lunchroom with sacks of food in hand. Can't beat that--doesn't cut too much into the allotted lunch time!

Mr R's appointment with the eye specialist who couldn't find anything at all wrong. (Optometrist was concerned as Mr R has two different coloured eyes LOL).

A quick run to my parents on Saturday to take Dad grocery shopping and a nice long chat with my sister on Saturday night. She's be away for 6 weeks in Australia so it was good to have a catch up.

A lovely bit of time spent in the craft corner making cards and sniffing new packs of paper. I know I'm not the only one, but it feels really odd to like the way brand new packs of paper smell!

Looking forward to some time in the corner this weekend as well. Lots of ideas have been popping into my head this week.

And lastly, the sky seems lighter when we are leaving for work in the morning. That really makes me smile as it means that soon spring will be here!

I'll leave you with this pic of the Gorgeous and the Handsome that also made me smile.

Have a wonderful week!

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stampin'!

  1. You've had a very busy week. It must the week for having a head full of ideas....I had so many in mine that I had to write it all down lol
I love the pic of your munchkins. What little poppets they are. Have a great week.

  2. Hi Michelle,
Oh yes, Gorgeous and Handsome made me smile.
Good to know Mr R's eyes are OK. If a professional gets worried, then you start to wonder too.
Lovely that you spend time with yuour dad and your sister. To be away for 6 weeks is a long time, even in this day and age of communication.
Thank you for your kind comments,
    Have a great weekend,

  3. Always good to get things checked out and great that there's no problem. Lovely photos of the two little ones, they are so cute. Sorry I'm a bit late, still suffering with the cold thing. Happy crafty weekend, Angela xXx

  4. How cute is that photo! sounds like a fab week overall - seriously quick drive through for lunch as well. Hope you have a fabulous weekend and week ahead!

    Much love

  5. Hi Michelle, love the shot of Gorgeous and Handsome. It made me smile but so did your nicknames for them - very appropriate :) Thanks for sharing. Elizabeth xx

  6. A week late but your little people still made me smile.
See you this week hopefully for more of the same
