Frosted Cupcakes

Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter makes great frosting highlights! This is a pretty easy card to make and doesn't take long at all.

WOYWW 401

Lots of stuff on here today to look at. Piles of stamps, dies and inks. See Julia, it's not always neat 😏. Oddly enough, my Chromebook is front and centre. More surfing than cardmaking going on?

Cupcakes and Shaker Sprinkles

Thanks to Michele Reynolds for the inspiration for this card. It doesn't show up in the picture, but the outside cupcake has Wink of Stella on the dark parts of the frosting. This is a totally fun and girly card.

It's a Cupcake Kind of Day

Chocolate cupcakes are sooo nummy! A big thanks to Michelle Zindorf for the basis of this card. I liked her idea of using the hardwood background stamp to make a table top.

Christmas Card of the Month

I love this card. You can't tell from the picture, but the branches are cut from Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and the ornament and peace are both covered in clear embossing powder. It really gives it a nice shine in person.

If you would like to try your hand at making your own handmade Christmas cards I'd love to have you join me on February 19 at 2:00 p.m. You will make 5 cards of the same design and the fee of $20 includes all the supplies you will need. This event takes place in Whitby Ontario at a pet-friendly home. Please RSVP by February 10 to cardiologydepartment@outlook.com so I can have all your supplies ready for you to start creating.

Rocking Your World Friday--Week 5

Another week has flown by just like that and it's once again time to visit with Virginia and Annie.

This week has again been fairly quiet with not a lot going on.

Mr R and I managed to get in another lunch date this week. I think we have found the fastest drive-thru known to man. Six minutes from leaving our parking lot to being back in our lunchroom with sacks of food in hand. Can't beat that--doesn't cut too much into the allotted lunch time!

Mr R's appointment with the eye specialist who couldn't find anything at all wrong. (Optometrist was concerned as Mr R has two different coloured eyes LOL).

A quick run to my parents on Saturday to take Dad grocery shopping and a nice long chat with my sister on Saturday night. She's be away for 6 weeks in Australia so it was good to have a catch up.

A lovely bit of time spent in the craft corner making cards and sniffing new packs of paper. I know I'm not the only one, but it feels really odd to like the way brand new packs of paper smell!

Looking forward to some time in the corner this weekend as well. Lots of ideas have been popping into my head this week.

And lastly, the sky seems lighter when we are leaving for work in the morning. That really makes me smile as it means that soon spring will be here!

I'll leave you with this pic of the Gorgeous and the Handsome that also made me smile.

Have a wonderful week!

WOYWW 400

Okay, how can it already be Wednesday again? And the 400th week? Guess it's time to hook up with Julia and see what everyone has been up to this week.

My desk has not a thing on it. Except the cards that I managed to make over the weekend. Two have already been posted on my blog, but the last one doesn't hit the net until tomorrow so you get a sneaky-peek.

Thanks for stopping by.
