Today's card is also for a special person. My sister Pam and I don't spend a lot of time together, but she is a terrific big sister and whenever we are together we have loads of fun (can you say wine and shopping!). I thought the colour would be perfect for her because she is usually bright and sunny.
This week we are playing with the stamp set Beautiful You. I really like this set as the images seem classic and the sentiments are terrific. This card will be going to a very special person, my friend who I have known for almost all of my life. We would sit beside each other in the baby swings at the park and went from kindergarden all the way through high school together. Hope she likes her card!
I can't believe a very special little person is turning 3 in a couple of weeks. Yes, my granddaughter, the little Gorgeous is going to be 3! Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday she was a tiny baby 😊. A special day deserves a special card. I used the Biggest Birthday Ever stamps and matching framelits along with the Cupcake Cutouts framelits and sentiment from Sweet Cupcake. The colours used are Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride, Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight.
You can never have enough birthday cards stashed, so here is another one. I like that this is quick and easy to make. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the balloons are made with red foil and silver foil paper. Other than that it's just Basic Black, Smokey Slate and Real Red ink.
All credit for the idea for this card goes to Christine Miller. I loved the bright, fun colours she used.
The colours used are Basic Black, Melon Mambo and, although it's hard to tell from the picture, Mint Macaron. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stampin'! Michelle
For my final card this week I decided on a birthday card. I've decided that I'm going to revist something I did last year during the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement. Anyone who wants a handmade birthday card from me just needs to send me a message to cardiologydepartment@outlook.com and I would be happy to pop some happy mail in the post for you. It was loads of fun last year so I can't wait to do it again this year.
The idea for this card came from another SU! demonstrator, Carolyn King. Colours used are Night of Navy, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Old Olive, Smokey Slate and Soft Sky. Trees are from Lovely as a Tree. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stampin'! Michelle
